What is it?

Lemon balm hydrosol is the aqueous phase obtained during the steam distillation of Melissa officinalis. It contains water-soluble aromatic molecules and minimal amounts of natural aromatic components that give it its characteristic fresh, mild herbal-citrus aroma.

Unlike essential oil, hydrosol is naturally less concentrated and is suitable for direct, daily use on the skin.
